The Axel

RPM Living manages The Axel, which sets aside apartments under an Essential Housing program at two income tiers — 80 percent and 140 percent of area median gross income — and accepts Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers, with those residents in the same buildings and on the same amenities. Ten plans run from a 484-square-foot one-bedroom to a 1,080-square-foot two-bedroom. Renovated homes get quartz counters, a kitchen island with sink and white tile backsplash, and some have fireplaces. Two pools, two playgrounds, a pergola-covered grilling area and a clubhouse with two workspaces sit on site, and a bus stop is at the community entrance.
