Reger Holdings, a Buffalo, New York developer, built the property as the second apartment community in EastVillage, its 425-acre mixed-use district along Parmer Lane; the name follows the development’s music theme and refers to Janis Joplin. Greystar manages it. In January 2025 Cottonwood Group provided a $284 million senior bridge loan secured by this property, the neighboring Vaughan, 19 entitled parcels and unsold units at the Linden Residences. Eight plans span 731 to 1,273 square feet across one and two bedrooms, with 16-foot ceilings, custom built-ins and oversized corner patios in select apartments. Residents share a CenterStage outdoor amphitheater, pickleball courts, a sky lounge, an indoor dog spa and a pool with a Baja shelf and plunge pool. EastVillage is planned to reach 2,400 apartments, 466 houses and a 150-acre nature preserve, and Samsung’s Austin plant is nearby.
