The Quincy

Endeavor Real Estate Group developed The Quincy with MetLife Investment Management on Red River Street between Driskill and Davis streets, across from the Container Bar, and it was promoted as the Rainey Street District’s first mixed-use tower to combine apartments with office space. Ziegler Cooper Architects designed it and Rogers-O’Brien Construction built it, breaking ground in March 2019 and topping out in September 2020 with a tree fixed at the summit in the Scandinavian topping-out tradition. Three floors hold about 77,500 square feet of offices, reached through a lobby and elevator bank separate from the residential entrance, above roughly 10,400 square feet of street-level retail. Residents have a pool deck with cabanas and a firepit, an exercise lawn, and guest rooms available to book for visitors. Endeavor has said the name was chosen simply because it appealed to them, with no connection to any person or place called Quincy.
