Landmark Apartment Trust of America bought Prescott Woods from Mission Residential in July 2013 as part of a $98.9 million, three-property purchase that also took in Landmark at Gleneagles in Dallas and Landmark at Wynton Pointe in Nashville; the 1,334-unit portfolio was 94 percent occupied at closing. The property now operates under Starwood Capital, formerly Highmark Residential. One- and two-bedroom homes come in classic and renovated interiors, with fireplaces, custom built-in shelving, granite-style counters and smart-home hardware. Shared amenities include a pool with a sundeck, a coffee bar and picnic areas with both charcoal and gas grills. The community sits in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of south Austin.
