Goodwin

The Geyser Group and Sabot Development built the Goodwin at the intersection of Springdale Road and Airport Boulevard, on 3.75 acres where a 50-year-old apartment complex of the same name was demolished. Former residents were offered relocation assistance and financial literacy classes, and priority for the 37 income-restricted units, which are reserved at 60 percent of Austin-area median family income. Davies Collaborative was the architect, Cadence McShane Construction the general contractor and CPM Texas the owner’s project manager. The plan carries 2,400 square feet of retail intended for a local restaurant or bodega. Two pools, a rooftop and terrace, a landscaped garden, a dog park and a dog wash station are on site. The Opportunity Zone property faces Springdale General and sits beside the Springdale Green office campus, within walking distance of Austin Bouldering Project. First units delivered in summer 2023.
