The Hanover Company developed the building as Hanover South Lamar, completing it as a wood-frame structure over a podium garage, with MEP engineering by Jordan & Skala. Boston-based GID bought it in January 2017 in a deal brokered by ARA Newmark and rebranded it under its Windsor Communities banner, which operates apartment properties nationally; the listing broker noted GID had by then bought more than $500 million of properties from Hanover. It holds National Green Building Standard bronze certification and 550 rooftop solar panels, and carries 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. Plans run from a 690 sq ft one-bedroom to a 1,135 sq ft two-bedroom. The property advertises a 1.5-acre private pet park as Austin’s largest, alongside a courtyard pool with cabanas and a dual-sided fireplace, Technogym fitness equipment and 24-hour dry-cleaning pickup. Lady Bird Lake and downtown are each less than a mile away.
