Northshore

High Street Residential built Northshore with The Hanover Company and Pacific Life Insurance on part of the former Green Water Treatment Plant site, at the edge of the Second Street District. Solomon Cordwell Buenz designed it and Balfour Beatty was the general contractor. The scheme began as twin towers spanning two downtown blocks and was reduced to a single 424-foot tower in 2014. Fifty apartments are income-restricted. A 17,000-square-foot pool deck faces Lady Bird Lake, with cabanas, sun beds and several outdoor kitchens; the hike-and-bike trail along the lake runs alongside. Roughly 50,000 square feet of retail and boutique office space sits at the base. The building is certified LEED Silver. American Realty Advisors acquired it from Trammell Crow in August 2018, and Greystar manages the apartments.
