Solaris House at Uptown ATX

Brandywine Realty Trust developed Solaris House as the first residential building at Uptown ATX, the 66-acre, $3 billion redevelopment of IBM’s former Broadmoor campus, which Austin City Council rezoned for mixed use in 2018. Dallas firm GFF designed the 370,839 sq ft project; construction began in 2022 and the building opened in late spring 2024, with ZRS Management running leasing. Homes divide between The Flats, with 89, and The Tower, with 252, and 38 plans run from a 480 sq ft studio to a 1,473 sq ft two-bedroom, some reserved under the City of Austin’s SMART Housing program. Residents share a 23,000 sq ft amenity deck with the adjoining One Uptown office tower, which carries 15,000 sq ft of ground-floor retail, and step directly into Solaris Park, a 0.3-acre public greenspace. A Capital Metro Red Line station, Broadmoor, is planned for the development.
