Maverick Development Group built Wilder on 38.5 wooded acres at fewer than ten units per acre, with Kelly Grossman as architect and Rampart Construction as general contractor. In September 2021 Maverick and Hudgins Cos. sold it to Chicago-based Redwood Capital Group in partnership with Pacific Life, in a sale brokered by John Carr and Ben Fuller of Cushman & Wakefield; terms were not disclosed. BH Management Services runs it. Plans carry Central Texas town names — Buda, Lockhart, Lago Vista, Bastrop, Georgetown — and range from a 449 sq ft studio to a 1,198 sq ft two-bedroom. The clubhouse holds a two-lane bowling alley, and the grounds add disc golf, two dog parks with a washing station, an outdoor yoga space and a nature trail connecting to more than ten miles of shared trails. Homes use Kwikset smart locks, Honeywell thermostats and Z-Wave lighting on the Dwelo platform.
