Residences at Saltillo

Endeavor Real Estate Group, with Columbus Realty Partners, built this as the market-rate housing inside Plaza Saltillo, a roughly ten-acre redevelopment of former railroad land that Capital Metro put out to bid and settled on with Endeavor in 2016. Torti Gallas and Partners wrote the master plan and Michael Hsu led as local architect. The rezoning set 141 affordable units across the district, 41 of them folded into the market-rate blocks, at income levels ranging from 30 to 60 percent of median family income and averaging 50 percent; several floor plans here are offered through SMART Housing. Ground-floor tenants include Whole Foods Market, Target, Club Pilates, Snooze, Gyu-Kaku and Hopdoddy. An elevated pool faces downtown and a second sits at ground level, above co-working lounges and a wellness studio. The Plaza Saltillo Red Line station is at the door.
